Chapter 41. What Do You Want?

“I didn’t know you to be a quitter Kian.”

“Then you didn’t know me at all. I quit once things don’t appear to be working out in my favour.”

“Your favour? Kian, this marriage is about us both so stop acting like our breakup would affect only you.”

“It does affect me Farrah because it’s a pity to see the efforts I put into these six steps go to waste.”

“What efforts are you talking about? The last time I checked, I was the only one taking steps to save our marriage from collapsing.”

“That’s where you’re wrong love. You haven’t been the only one taking steps to save our marriage.”

“Really? What steps have you taken?”

“My first step was forgiving you.”

I snort. “You’re supposed to forgive me all the time Kian.”

He rolls his eyes. “My second step was taking care of Caitlyn for you.”

“You’re supposed to do that Kian.”

He rolls his eyes. “My third step was…er, well I haven’t taken it.”

I smile. “Well, what’s stopping y
