"We can go another round, if you want," I offered.
"I wish I could, stud," she said as she sipped the Dom rosé. "But I've got to get going soon. Plus, your girlfriends will be back before too long."
We talked and kissed until the Champagne was gone, and Juliet got up to leave. I walked her to her car. She slid into the driver's seat and rolled down the window after I closed the door for her.
"Hey," she said, "I know I don't make plans and all, but we should really make a point to accidentally be in the same place at the same time again."
I smiled and waved as she turned around the circle drive and disappeared from sight. It would be a happy accident indeed to cross paths with her again.
