Chapter 332
"Nope," I said with a confident smile. "I’m ready to get this show on the road."
"Well, it’ll just be a few minutes," Juliet said. "Jess has to touch-up some of their makeup. Someone ruined it with his over-the-top gifts."
"What can I say," I said. "I love to make the girls cry."
Juliet rolled her eyes.
"Thank you for letting us do this," she said.
"No one else would do it justice," I said.
We all gravitated toward the beach and its floral altar. Ice buckets with three-liter bottles of Dom Perignon rosé had magically appeared on the cocktail tables, along with glasses. Jason took charge of pouring. Almost imperceptibly, Juliet pushed me toward the scene of the ceremony. Everyone seemed to know what to do and when to do it.
