The more I tried to forget about it, the more my mind couldn’t stop replaying the argument that had happened between us. I had to leave before it escalated into something heated.

I didn’t know what to think. Not only that, but I had no idea what could be going through her mind, and it was driving me crazy so bad that I was lost in my thoughts.

An influx of questions flooded through my mind. Why would she hide something like that from me? Does she secretly hate me?

I mean, that was absurd, why would she hate me?

But no matter how much I tried to process things, I couldn’t understand why she would hide something like that away from me. She said she wanted to handle things herself and I hated to admit it but everything that she has handled on her own, always ended up in a disaster.
