Chapter 149

Third-Person POV

Two weeks later…

Alayana was not able to sleep or eat properly since she heard Isaac was married. She didn’t know what had happened in the capital and felt sad for her baby. She decided to not believe him the next time she sees him. She was angry with him and it made her stressed.

“How are you doing?” Mandy asked, sitting in front of me. She completed her work and placed a hand on her belly.

Suddenly she looked up and asked “Is your back paining?”

Alayana was surprised because she thought it was just normal pain but Mandy’s face said it was not. She nodded her head painfully.

“Oh, dear. Why didn’t you tell me before? You are in labor. Since when are you having contractions?” Mandy said and looked around for the things she needed to prepare.

“Since morning. But I thought it was just a back ache.” Alayana replied and took her hand to stand up. She was breathing hard to subdue her pains.

Mandy shook her head. “For
