Third-Person POV

“Happy birthday, Alpha,” Alayana said, blinking her eyes nervously. It took her so much strength to say those words softly without shaking.

But when she saw his eyes becoming cold she caught his hand on her waist.

“I know there might be a reason for not celebrating your birthday. but I want to say that your birth is a blessing to everyone in this pack. aside from people who hurt you, there are people in this pack who want you to be happy on this day… there are people who love you and you are not alone.” she removed her hand slowly and got up from his lap. Now she wants to run away like a little rabbit in order not to get punished.

For a few minutes Alpha Isaac kept silent as her words made him remember his past where his father and mother celebrated his birthday happily. After his mother cheated on his father, he never celebrated it anymore.

A wave of turmoil passed through his heart but he didn’t show it in face. He formed fist
