Alayana’s POV

That night, when I was reading the book which Clarke gave me to read in my leisure time, I heard a knock on the door. I kept my book aside and went to open the door. I saw two middle aged maids standing out carrying a few boxes. I narrowed my eyes and looked up at them in confusion.

“Miss Sangster, we are here to prepare you for tonight.” One of the maids said bowing her head. Realization dawned on to me immediately as I remembered tonight was the night Alpha Isaac said he would want me. Feeling embarrassed and ashamed I gave them a way to enter.

One of the maids went into the bathroom preparing for my bath while the other started to arrange things in my room. She replaced my daily sheets with new white sheets. And also changed pillow covers to a new set.
