Alayana’s POV

“How is she?” I woke up hearing a familiar voice ringing near me. When I looked around the white walls and the saline beside my bed, I understood I was hospitalized. I remembered Mallory slapping me before fainting. I thought I became strong recently and didn’t understand why I fainted suddenly.

“Why am I here?” I asked Misty who was relaxing on the sofa in my mind. It was a mystery to me of how Misty can hear words when I speak in my mind. And then I thought it was her special power to hear from my mind.

“Don’t worry. It’s good news.” she said flipping magazines on the table. I narrowed my eyes at her in confusion. What good news can it be?

I turned around when I felt gazes from the back. Alpha Isaac and Clarke were looking at me. I think I missed when they called me so they are looking at me for a response.

“Who did this?” He extended his hand to touch my cheek but I avoided it. His voice didn’t carry any emotion but his eyes beca
