Chapter 26. Do’s and Don’ts

MEGAN: I can’t believe you ditched me last night! Anyway, you’re forgiven since Andrew drove me home, but what exactly happened?

I knew it, Michelle thought.

Megan liked the fact that Andrew sent her home last night. It was pretty obvious that her best friend had a thing with her husband’s best friend. She was kind of bothered with it, knowing her impression of Andrew, but at the same time, she knew Megan would never do something that would only hurt her in the end.

She then replied to her text message:

I can tell you what happened in person. Visit me at Ethan’s home tomorrow.

Thinking that Ethan would be gone for days, Michelle could never hide her happiness. A few days without him would allow her to breathe some fresh air for a bit. It wasn’t like she couldn’t do it while he was around, but she only felt that everything got too heavy since he came into her life... heavy in a way that she was always conflicted about something... and bothersome in a way
