Chapter 27. Temporary Freedom
She could finally get to experience her four-day freedom. It was Saturday when Ethan fled to Singapore, and since it was Michelle’s day off, she invited Megan to come over so they could hang out at home.
"Your marriage is like a freaking romance novel, really!" Megan shrieked in glee.
Michelle scowled at her, but Megan did not give a damn and gave her such a teasing stare.
"How can it be a romance novel when Ethan is the villain?" Michelle hissed.
They were in her bedroom. For her, it was the safest place in the mansion since Priscilla could be peeping anywhere, waiting for her to make a mistake. She did not want the housekeeper to act as if she had the right to argue with her again.
