Darius POV

“I have bad news, Master,” Rocky said as he entered the office, and Darius quickly stood up.

“What do you mean by bad news?” His wolf growled as he asked the inquiry, and the dreadful feeling he’d had in the previous several days returned.

Goosebumps emerged on his skin, and he wanted to scratch his entire body but stopped himself. Before taking any action, he needed to hear what Rocky had to say.

In the back of his mind, Darius had a clue as to what this might be about, but he suppressed the thought immediately.
