Chapter 45. Danger Feelings

Darius POV

Darius jumped out of bed, eyes wide open, sweating profusely as if he’d just finished a marathon.

His heart was pounding furiously, and he was experiencing sharp twinges of pain in his lower abdomen, chest, and back.

He let out a small yell, clutching his chest tightly, trying to alleviate the pain in any way he could.

He began by looking around the room, curious as to why he had awoken so late, but no one was there except him in the large suite.

He looked at the large doors, too, checking to see if it was open, but it was duly locked and just the way he had left it when he had arrived from the club earlier.

He’d had a dream, hadn’t he? He asked himself, blinking twice and trying to remember something, but nothing came to mind.

The sharp pain in his chest pulled at him again, and this time he clutched himself tightly, trying to alleviate the ache while trying to think of a logical reason why he was feeling this way.<
