“Daddy, I’m ready!” His little voice called out as he ran towards me, dressed in his tiny running gear, excitement shining in his eyes.

I chuckled, ruffling his hair. “Alright, buddy. Let’s see if you can keep up with me today.”

“I can!” he insisted, puffing out his chest with determination.

We started our jog, his little feet pattering beside me as he tried his best to match my pace. It was adorable watching him push himself, even when I could tell he was struggling to keep up.
