Layla’s POV
I knew Logan was upset when he dragged me away and out of the party premises into a secluded room. His fingers dug into my arm, and I had to hold back a scream.
This side of the house was not a room, it was more like a large dome like structured side of the house resembling a library with a large tall ancient shelf carrying identical brown books on it. There were several flower pots seated around and a desk table on one side. This looked like a public study room and I wondered why Nigel would have that in his house. I doubt he was married.
