Isabella's POV

My chest rose and fell rapidly as I turned my gaze back to Damien, silently begging him to stop talking.

But Damien didn’t stop.

“Your wife, Isabella, tried to kill me.” He inhaled sharply. 

“She sent someone to kidnap me, to get rid of me.”

I heard the faint sound of someone gasping.

One of Logan’s men muttered something under his breath.

Dani simply exhaled, shaking his head as if he wasn’t surprised at all.
