Chapter 59

Late at night, a city was immersed in a silent sleep. Thousands of lights went out while the single-family building was still brightly lit. The nanny coaxed little Leslie to sleep. Then she sat in a wheelchair and looked at the open door of the porch in the living room.

Thama went out to talk with the master and then disappeared! Several hours have passed. The nanny was starting to worry about her.

She didn't wait for her boss to return late, but she waited to see if the master had abused her by chance. Carter walked into the room with a cool face and a handsome figure and closed the porch door.

The nanny, who is more like a family to Thama, sat in an electric wheelchair with a thin blanket on her knee. She looked up at his floating eyes, but she didn't hurry to speak as she wasn’t expecting him at that hour.
