Given the current situation at Queen Corp, it’s not ideal for Hazel to keep isolating herself in the company; she needs to broaden her horizons and meet more people. Even if the blind dates don’t work out, she might still end up connecting with potential business partners.
Thinking about it this way, this meal wouldn’t be a waste after all.
“Alright, alright, I’ll agree to it. Since we have guests coming over, I can at least go upstairs and freshen up, right?” Hazel teased, trying to get out of it.
Omar still didn’t let go of her hand, his sharp eyes watching her closely, as though afraid that if he loosened his grip for even a second, she’d turn around and run.
Finally, Hazel had no choice but to give in and plop down on the couch.
“Grandpa, I know you’ve set up a blind date for me today. I’m not planning to run away. Even if I don’t end up with any of them, I can at least make a few friends. Queen Corp’s situation does require me to expand my network.
