That afternoon, Damon finalized the divorce with Delilah, and she was immediately sent to the police station. With multiple witnesses and physical evidence provided by Damon, Delilah was detained.

As for her child, it was sent to an orphanage.

There was little doubt about the outcome. With Damon’s influence, Delilah was quickly convicted.

When Damon went to see her for the last time, she no longer had the arrogant look she had before.

Locked up in prison, she seemed to have aged a decade, her entire demeanor weathered.

“Damon, since you knew everything from the beginning, why did you endure it for so long?”

“From the very start, my mercy was because of the child in your belly. Otherwise, do you really think you could have gotten away with this for so long? Don’t worry, I’ve arranged a place for you in prison. Someone will take good care of you.”

After dealing a final blow to Delilah, Damon was about to leave. This was also his last visit to
