Hazel knew deep down that this man wasn’t going to reveal everything from the past so easily. Still, it was good to know that there was a channel to investigate further. She could take her time to look into it.

“No, no, no, you’ve got it wrong.” The man smiled and waved his hand, as though casually talking about daily matters with Hazel.

“Now, I’m the one asking the questions. You don’t have the right to ask me anything right now.”

The familiarity he had shown earlier when trying to approach Hazel was completely gone, replaced by an overwhelming sense of suppression.

A suppression so strong that Hazel couldn’t help but feel a sense of inferiority.

“If I don’t have the right to ask you anything, then how can you be so sure that you have the right to ask me? Or do you think Hazel Queen is someone who can be bullied at will?”
