Now, after Omar’s reminder, she started to reconsider the matter. Before she could figure it out, Omar added, “Unless his real purpose was to tell you these things, but for some reason, he couldn’t tell you directly and had to do it this way instead.”

When Omar said this, it felt like a sudden revelation to Hazel. After all these years of planning, Harold couldn’t have trusted anyone so quickly, even someone with the same goal.

So the only possibility seemed to be what Omar had just mentioned.

“Then what’s his purpose in telling me this? Grandpa, do you think my parents’ accident has anything to do with him?”
