Chapter 92. Get Caught

Seeing Delilah acting so understanding, Agatha immediately forgot how she had just angrily scolded the nurses.

She was about to step forward and take Delilah’s hand, but was stopped when Jamal grabbed her arm.

“That’s fine. After all, it’s his own child. As a father, he should take responsibility.”

Jamal spoke as he began to lead Agatha out. “Then I’ll take Mom to get the medicine. You rest here at the hospital.”

Just as they were about to leave, Agatha pulled her hand away from Jamal and went to hold Delilah’s hand.

“Delilah, don’t worry. It’s only a little more than a month left, it’ll be over soon. Once the baby is born, we’ll come and take you home to rest.”

Jamal had intended to force her out, but when he heard she hadn’t said anything inappropriate, he felt relieved.

For now, Agatha couldn’t have a falling out with Delilah. These were things she should’ve said herself, and he had just been too distrustful of Agatha earlier.
