Chapter 138
“Tell me everything.” I ordered.
Jett scowled at me as he and Renard took over the sofa. Their exhaustion was palpable as they sprawled out across the cushions. Jett’s pitch-black hair was more unruly than usual, sweat dampening a few random strands that clung to his forehead.
“Give us a moment to recover.” He complained.
I turned my attention to Renard, who was nursing a gash on his forearm, grimacing as he used magic to clean and try to heal his wound. I motioned for Andra to come over and help him with the wound.
“Some injuries caused by wolves can’t be healed with magic.” I told him. “Let Andra help you with your wound.”
Renard scowled at my revelation and let out a sigh of resignation. Andra grabbed a first aid kit that was tucked away in the corner of the loft before walking over and tending to his wound.
I looked back at Jett and noticed that his usually pristine pale skin was starting to become marred by faint bruises blooming along his ch
