Chapter 19. His Past
It seems that he read my message and hung up the phone. I couldn't sleep and had nothing to do, so I went directly to Jordan's study.
Before the work became too busy, I seldom have time to study in the room, rarely have time to rest even. But now, I could have an excuse to be lazy.
Jordan's study was very large, and there are many kinds of books. I was bored so I read some books with pictures for a while, before I soon had a backache.
I had to put down the books in my hand and stand up. As I wander around in the study, I accidentally saw a small cabinet that looked old in the corner of calligraphy.
Out of curiosity, I looked through it and found some photos, all of which were old. I can see that they all seemed to be pictures of Jordan when he was a child.
I have never seen Jordan's parents. I saw a yellowed picture of a young man and woman holding a kid in their arms, smiling and looking kindly.
