Chapter 30. Bidding and Bidding
Driving back to the office, Ivelle was surprised that Dr. Brad Silverman was in her office and seemed to be waiting for her.
When Dr. Silverman saw Ivelle coming back, he put down the magazine he held in his hand, looked at her, and said, "How was the bidding?"
"Not bad!" After answering his question, I caught a glimpse of the lunch box on my desk. I raised my eyebrows and said, "What is this?"
"The soup stewed by Chef Coleman was very useful in reducing pregnancy sickness!" He opened his mouth and came forward to open the lunch box.
He had given Ivelle one this morning, and she drank some. Indeed, she didn't feel sick all morning. It seemed that the soup was really good.
"Thank you!" Ivelle opened her mouth. She sat back in her seat, raised her eyebrow, and looked at him, and said, "Are you here to just deliver the soup?"
"No!" He was straightforward and said directly, "Have you found any suitable company after the bidding?"
