Chapter 40. What If the Child Is Gone
Maisie Rogers paused her movements and thought for a brief moment. "It's possible that many women will fall in love with someone they don't love especially because of her conceived child."
'Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.' Ivelle agreed on her thoughts.
"What if the child is gone?" She opened her mouth, a little at a loss.
Maisie was surprised and coldly stared at her shoulder. "What are you thinking? It's been two months, and it's almost taking shape. All you have to do now is to give birth to him. What a mess you're thinking about?"
Ivelle raised her hand and covered her face as she felt a little irritable. She always noticed that she was flustered and irritable recently.
Maisie dried Ivelle's hair, dragged her to bed, and soothed her to take a rest.
