Chapter 32. The Void

The smell of the sea carried over to where Germaine and the others stumbled out of the grove of forest trees.

The four of them were tired, having walked miles and hours through the night, with only a few hours of sleep, to get to the harbor.

When Storm announced they had to leave on a sea adventure, Germaine did not realize it was going to be this taxing. She was quickly coming around to the fact that the search for the talisman was not going to be a walk in the park.

After the four of them left the town hall and took Storm home, Keratin went back to inform the chiefs about the latest development. They followed him back immediately as well as lady Lucia, who worked on invisibility and protective spell for them. After an hour, they were on their way. They took nothing with them except the clothes on their backs, as ordered by Storm.
