Chapter 67. The Invitees

I was still sleeping on my luxurious bed when my phone continuously began to sound like an alarm set to wake me up at 5 am. With my peaceful mind and heavy eyes, I stretched out my hand to the mahogany stool near my bed and picked up my cell phone.

Immediately as I picked it up, I saw several email notifications on my phone, and if I were to count correctly, it was around eighteen to twenty email notifications.

To me, as important as my status was in society, emails were very crucial. They were the place I received my official meeting invitations and updates on every other project I laid my hands on.

But if I told you the email notifications I received were invitations to an organization, or to speak at a conference, or for any other project I was handling or contributing to, it would be a lie.

These emails were responses to the invitations my assistant had sent while I was asleep. Starting from the bottom, I began to read the first email:
