“Why did you help her? What if she’s dangerous? What if she harms you?” I heard a feminine whisper as I opened my eyes slowly.

I looked around, staring at my hand and to my astonishment, I was in my human form.

“Mom… She was restless and injured, it looked as if she was in danger… I had to help.”

“What if she attracts bad people… What if you get killed for trying to help her? You shouldn’t involve yourself with people like her, she’s dangerous… She might be the enemy.” The woman’s voice came out harsh and I understood her words clearly.

“She isn’t… She looks like a good person.” He argued and she growled.

“Your father is going to be the judge of that. I can’t wait for him to get back so he can throw her out.” She snapped and I coughed slightly as I rose from the ground.
