The hospital hallway was silent as I, Miss Olivia, and Carlos sat waiting for the doctor to come out and tell us what the reason was behind Alpha Maseno's sudden fall.

While still at home, we tried to wake him up by trying what we had all learned in our schools about first aid, but none of us succeeded.

It was after twenty minutes, when almost all of us snapped back into reality from panicky mode, that I yelled about calling an ambulance, and Miss Olivia jumped into it.

“Do you think he'll be okay?“ I walked to Miss Olivia, who had been clutching a cup of coffee for over two hours now and hadn't taken a sip from it yet.

“He will. We just need to have our fingers crossed.“ She smiled, trying to look brave to me, but her trembling lips betrayed her.

We are all scared. We really are. Carlos had been puffing out packets and packets of cigarettes since we came here, and honestly, I had started getting worried for his health.
