“Hey, you can't throw that away!“ I jumped to take the phone Miss Olivia had thrown.

“Why can't I? It's of no use to us anyway.“ She pouted, leaning on the chair's backrest.

“Of course it is.“ I sighed and, sitting to face her, said, “We can take this to whoever repairs them and get access to it."

“Why didn't I think of that?“ She sat upright, her eyes widening in happiness. "Give it to me.“ She snatched it from my hands and rose from her chair. “I'll be taking it to get repaired. You and Carlos should stay here just in case the doctor comes out."

“But Miss Olivia..." I and Carlos said it in unison, but she cut us off.

"No buts, stay here; I'll be right back.“ She sprinted towards the exit door, leaving me and Carlos gasping in shock.

We looked at each other, smiled, and leaned against chairs, waiting for the doctor. Two hours had passed.
