Reaching the gate, we met a truck driving in.

Kiara being cu asked and then turned to face her. I found her already dressed and waiting for me to get done as well.

“Long ago.“ She smiled, lifting her hands in the air.

“Let's go for some wild fruits, and then I'll teach Raika how to swim, okay?“ I asked, wanting to get her permission first.

She snapped her head toward the woods, and with fear almost gripping her eyes, she asked, “Won't Alpha Benna's guards find us?“

"No, they won't. These clothes we are wearing will help us mask our scents. They'll never find us.“ I assured her and pulled her into a hug, kissing her forehead.

“Why do you always help me, though?“ She asked, raising her head to look at me.

Here we were again. With these innocent baby blue eyes looking at me like this, would I be able to lie? I asked myself as I ran my fingers through her hair.

“Do you really want to know, princess?“ I asked her.
