“The prodigal is back.“ A sarcastic voice echoed after I was unceremoniously pulled off the truck and thrown on the ground.

Without even thinking, I knew to whom it belonged.

“Well, she won't be talking back to me today, right?“ The voice came again, this time closer to me. The sack over my head was yanked off, and I sighed in relief.
