Christopher’s POV

I did not take the usual precautions to ensure the information did not go out, putting a bounty on anyone defeated the purpose before it began. But none the less, I was going to check, just to be sure. I hoped they were not stupid enough to still be here.

When I walked in, nobody paid me mind, they were all either nursing a hangover or they were setting up a place or cleaning a place, I walked straight to the counter. The lady there glanced at me briefly, then dropped what she was doing to come over.

“What can I get you this hot afternoon sir?’ she said as she wiped down the area in front of us and then gave me her attention. I slid a ward of notes her way, she barely glanced at it before giving me a bored look.

“Information please.” I said to her, she glanced at the notes one more time and returned the bored look. Guess we were going to be paying excessively for nothing after all.
