Chapter 49

Daniella was too full and sleepy so as soon as she got back into her room, she literally throw herself into the bed, then she plugged the headset into her phone and listened to her favorite music. Her eyes were closed but she was not yet asleep when Lilian came back. After Patty and Thalia went home with their kids, Daniella decided to just share a room with Lilian to solidify their bonding moment as sisters.

She heard the click of the handle when Lilian bolted the door and sat down on the edge of the bed. “Aren’t you sleepy?” She asked with her eyes closed when Lilian remained seated after a few moments.

“Dani…,” Marcus whispered her name and Daniella sat upright upon learning that it wasn’t Lilian who came into the room but… him!

“Marcus! How come you are here?” Daniella asked then it dawned on her that Gerald’s worries could be true. Was it Marcus who staged everything to get her alone? Or was it Lilian?
