Gerald had no choice but to agree to Lizzy’s terms and moved into her condo unit in Avalon. Since the said condominium was close to Ayala Mall, he didn’t bother to get some of his clothes from Oslob and just bought enough that would last him for at least two weeks.

Avalon was a high-end condominium in Cebu Business Park with an excellent power supply. Lizzy spent more than ten million pesos on a two-bedroom unit as her hideout. She told him that nobody in her family knew about the unit and it was her secret place or that was what she believed in.

Lizzy already talked with her employer that she couldn’t continue working on the farm for personal reasons and she was lucky that looking for a replacement wasn’t hard. She was in Rustan’s Supermarket with Gerald to buy their food supplies for two weeks. Although there were a lot of restaurants nearby, she couldn’t go to places where she could accidentally meet an acquaintance.

“Do you have to wear that wig?” Gerald asked
