Rose’s POV

Kanen kept rolling on the floor while groaning in pain. I felt as though I was helpless at that moment. We were the only ones left in the room.

I just tried using my hands to pat his back so that maybe the pain could subside. But nothing worked instead the pain seemed to grow worse, from the looks of his facial expression. I knew Kanen wouldn’t be pleased if I called for help because the only people who knew about his disease were Kanen and I. Though his brothers knew, they were too far to come to his aid.

I had no other chance but to keep staying with him to console him till the pain subsided. The pain eventually stopped for some minutes. Kanen was still on the floor still trying to catch his breath. I gently supported him to stand up as I slowly took him to the bed so he could rest for a while.
