Chapter 153

Rose’s POV

I found myself waking up from sleep, by the side of the bed in Kanen’s bedroom. I slowly opened my eyes, it was a bright morning. The sun reflected my eyes through the window but I used my hands to shell myself from the sun.

I looked around to see how my environment was and then I spotted Kanen sleeping beside me on the bed. I turned again to the baby’s crib and figured the baby was still fast asleep. And then I turned back in Kanen’s direction to keep watching him sleep.

I then recalled what had happened last night and how we ended up in the situation we were in. It turned out that we’d been nursing the babies all night long. I heard that taking of newborn babies could be really stressful especially at night when the babies are always awake crying. But when you have two babies to nurse at night could even be more stressful than it was.

We tried calling the maids at night to help us too just in case.
