Rose’s POV

We watched as the guards took Miraelle away. But what shocked me was, As the guards took her away, She turned to me and smiled. Why was she smiling in situations like this? What I saw got me even more worried and a bit scared. Just then, Alpha Kanen held my hands to console me but my mind wasn’t calm until I could figure out why Miraelle smiled at the end.

When they all left, Everywhere became calm, it was now Alpha Kanen and I who were left behind. I looked up at Alpha Kanen and hugged him passionately.

He chuckled and hugged me back. “What’s the matter?” He asked.

“I’m so glad it’s all over. I really hope it is,” I replied while hugging him.

He reached out his hands to touch my hair while patting it. “You were amazing back there, I loved how you stood up to her like that. It really made me proud.” He said as I smiled and nodded.
