Alpha Kanen’s POV

With a grunt, I turned to the direction of the private cell. I had to see Rose. She would be prove that her family had begged me to spare their lives. Yes, they couldn’t believe the way I had killed so relentlessly, so she had being the sacrificial lamb in all of these, and it made me feel so good.

I walked past the garden and into a narrow gate that pulled me into a dim hallway. There were lamps on the walls which made it easy to see, but it still was dim. I let my werewolf senses take the lead and then, suddenly I heard screams.

My fingers combed my hair in horror. I couldn’t believe that I could do such a thing to a woman. I had never lost control like this before, and I was brutally ashamed of myself. I really needed to have control over my emotion because this wasn’t right at all, and it was completely disgusting.

“You hit me? Do you think that would silence me?” Rose screamed at me.
