POV: Shea Vestine-Thorne
For the next couple of days, they were truly inseparable. She couldn’t deny the fact that it was a better experience than the first one. Although, she wouldn’t want to think about it more now.
They were trying to start anew, and she didn’t want to ruin it just because of the past. For the time being, all that she could think of with it was their child.
She saw a lone tear that escaped Denver’s eyes as she stared at him kneeling on the ground in front of their child’s grave.
Shea couldn’t stop the pain that crossed her heart as she felt the guilt waving inside it.
She still couldn’t deny that she was part of the reason why Denver seemed to have that heavy burden in his heart.
When he finally stood up, she held his hand and intertwined it with hers. Denver gave her a small smile.
“I just want to apologize…” She slowly started.
She knew that Denver stared at her from her peripheral vision, but she chose to look at
