“The decision is yours… If you want to spend the rest of your life like this, then go and celebrate as she has set you free… And if you want a better life then go and stop her.” he said and I came out of the office.

I drove very fast and reached home. I wanted to talk to her, I wanted to give this marriage a try and apologize.

“Where is Manu?” I rushed inside and asked Swati the moment I saw her.

“What happened Bhai? Are you alright?”

“Where is Manu?”

“She is gone...” she said with a long face.

“Gone? Already?” my heart skipped a beat.

“Yeah, with Vikram Bhai… What happened?” She was looking at me with surprise.

“Nothing...” I said and came back to my room.

I still had those damn papers she signed in my hand.

I got those papers made with the help of Samar. He denied doing that and tried to put some sense into me but as I was very upset all the time and immersed myself in liquor, he finally agreed.
