“I will son… Very soon. Take care.” he said and disconnected the call. I turned and looked at her, she was sobbing.

I went to her and took her in my arms. She burst into tears and buried her face in my chest.

“Shh… He will be absolutely fine very soon, Vikram also said that. Don’t worry, he said he will come back very soon.” I said and she looked at me with her red eyes.

“What else did he say to you?” She asked like a cute child.

“He asked me to take care of you, as you are a little crackpot. He also said sorry because he got me married to his very feisty daughter, who can even slap me. Well… he was a bit late in informing me about that. Isn’t it?” I smiled and winked at her.

“Yeah… Shut up ok? She said but started smiling.” She was such a cute and lovely girl.
