After we finished our dinner, it was Riza’s bedtime. Enzo carried her in his arms carefully as I walked alongside them. I frowned slightly as we passed the dimly lit living room, which still provided enough light to guide us up the stairs.

In Riza’s room, we stood by her bed as she crawled under the covers.

“Goodnight, Riza. Sleep well…” Enzo whispered, planting a kiss on her cheek. Riza wrapped her arms around his neck and returned a kiss on his forehead, a tender exchange that left me in silent admiration.
