"Candice, where the fuck are you?" I murmured as I plopped down on Candice's bed, lost in thought. "Please, where are you?"

I couldn't help but ask myself if she was unhappy with me during our time together, which was why she left? Would she find joy with someone younger than me? But she said she loved me, and I could feel it deep in my heart.

I often thought a guy like me couldn’t make her happy, but every time I saw her smile when she looked at me, that idea fell apart. My worries faded whenever her face lit up during our conversations or when I made her laugh. She was the happiest when I kissed her, hug her, and made love to her.

Candice had convinced me that I could bring her happiness, that I was capable of loving a woman and maybe even being loved in return.
