Freya’s POV
My wolf whines and turns painfully but I have no choice and he’s making it so much harder, standing there with that hurt expression on his face.
It’s all fake.
“Please, Silas,” I say now with a low pleading tone. “Please, set me free.”
This time, I look at him.
He seems conflicted and torn, but it’s just a simple thing for him to do; he had done it with countless girls, so why couldn’t he just let me be?
“Please.” I plead one last time.
He looks at me like the world around us is being ripped apart and we’re only seconds away from falling apart with it.
I look away before I take the words back.
He growls angrily and turns away without an answer.
