Summer POV

“You cheated,” I told Ezra through the mind-link.

“You sound like a sore loser, babe,” he replied.

His smugness rattled me. I almost had him!

“I want a rematch,” I demanded.

“Never,” he said then cut off the mind-link.

Oh, how dare he?

I arrived at the mansion because that’s where Dad said he would be. He’d just wrapped up a meeting with the Alpha’s court. Now that I had a new title, I couldn’t be part of the Alpha’s court anymore. We needed to hunt for new members. Estelle would leave too because of the baby.

I couldn’t wait to tell my sister the great news! Though, she might ask me for a raise. The perks of being a big sister.

“Hey Daddy,” I said.

He eyed me as if to say ‘Not in front of the Alpha’s court.’

His reaction was warranted when Oliver laughed and the other guys snickered.

“Hi, Luna Summer,” Brook said.

“Luna,” Walker said. They would all have to be briefed about my new title.
