Jasper went forward and grabbed Cody’s shoulder. He found two bugs in the boy’s clothes. He threw the bugs to the ground and stepped on them, “I bet they can’t hear us now.”
Cody looked at him calmly, “Do you still think you can run away?”
Jasper pulled the boy away. “If I can’t run away, I’ll drag you down to hell with me.”
The hatred on Jasper’s face became stronger, “If it were not for you and your sister, your Mom would have been mine a long time ago. I’d waited for her for so many years, and now she had just decided to be with another man! I wasted so much time on her. Someone needs to pay!”
Cody didn’t seem to flinch. “My Mom turned you down a long time ago explicitly. You’re the one who refused to let it go! You’re out of your mind!”
