Chapter 32. You’ll Be Safe
Cody giggled and patted his forehead, “I also like you, Doc. If you were my uncle, you’d be the coolest uncle.”
Drew still had to treat his sister. He must keep him happy.
Drew smiled so wide that he flexed his teeth before he turned to Linford, “Mr. Bradley, he’s just a kid. He didn’t know anything. He lied, and that kidnapper took it seriously. It was not his fault. Besides, you two really look like each other….”
Before Drew could finish the sentence, Linford suddenly fixed him with those cold eyes.
Drew stopped talking instantly.
At this moment, Cristelle only got to know that Cody had lied to the kidnapper to save himself. She didn’t expect Cody to be so smart at such a young age.
“Mr. Bradley...” Cristelle tried to explain.
“It’s okay. I’ll just let it slide this time,” Linford said. He didn’t want to make things difficult for anyone. Besides, this brat was his son, after all.
“Thank you, Mr. Bradley,” Cristelle smiled.
