Ameira’s POV

Xandros and I were walking quietly. We had just left the Horizon Cafe after eating dinner. After the main course, we had dessert, and even though the wine was delicious, I still stuck to what I said that I wouldn’t drink much, so I only had one glass.

He asked me so many questions during the dinner that I didn’t have any idea why. Is he really that curious about me? But why? He even asked me if I had a boyfriend. I didn’t want to answer it at first, but he didn’t stop me until I answered. He left me with no choice but to answer him in the end. I said I wasn’t in a relationship because that’s the truth, wasn’t it? Another thing he asked me was when I planned to get married, and I didn’t answer him. What is he even expecting? I just said that I don’t have a boyfriend. Jeez! Well, getting married is possible, especially when my ex and I get back together. But there’s still no certainty that Mateo will come back to me after he broke up with me.
