Chapter 7

Priya’s POV

Aunty called my dad as well for brunch. So everyone seated themselves. Aunty did not tell anyone that I made everything today.

Rohit asked, “Wow!!! Mom, is there any special occasion today? Am I forgetting something? Why is there so much food on the table?”

“Why Rohit, it is the first Sunday we have Priya with us, so it’s a special Sunday. So special food, now just start eating this.”

Everyone started eating food. Uncle loved eating paranthas, salad and stir-fried idli. Rahul loved the food so much, he said, “Oh mom, the food is amazing I am just loving it.”

Aunty was smiling at me, but didn’t say anything. I was blushing.

Rohit, my mom and dad also enjoyed the whole food. In the end the servant served the halwa and asked whether they would like to have coffee or tea.

Aunty asked me to personally serve halwa to everyone. I did so.

Rohit said, “Oh everything was amazing today. I ate so much but this halwa is the best thing.
